The Green Man is a
Country Inn situated in the centre of the peaceful village
of Fownhope. The inn dates back to the first year of
the reign of Henry V11 AD 1485. A black and white building
with low oak beams throughout, set in an attractive garden.
The Inn acts as an excellent rendezvous, close to the meandering
River Wye, amongst the rolling woods and meadows of the
beautiful Herefordshire countryside. From this excellent
position you can indulge in leisure pursuits, foremost and
closest of which is the fishing over some of England ís
best Salmon reaches.
Whether visiting Hereford for leisure or business you
will find your stay at The Green Man Inn relaxing, informal
and memorable.
Note: Dogs are no longer allowed in the building (including the rooms and pub).
